My blog is called K E Garland.
I host an inspirational blog that includes quotes, stories, and photos.
Initially, I began my blog to sell my first book called, Kwoted ; however, it grew more to include personal essays and stories, and eventually, photos (taken by me). No matter what, each post is intended to inspire people to think differently about everyday occurrences.

Truly Madly Ordinary Stories from the heart.
My blog is about every day life adventure, most of all mine and it is supposed to show like the most Ordinary it can be extraordinary if you look at it with the right eyes. I started to blog because I always loved to write and I used to write but then I gave up for a while but now that I’m back I remembered how much I like it and how much it makes me feel good. Writing is therapeutic for me.

Murder in Common blog (MiC)) is about crime fiction books and their authors. Mainly, it features debut and mid-list writers, with the occasional personal post. MiC also includes links to my published Flash Fiction.
The blog started as a project for a University of Toronto social media program. My classmates were supportive of the idea and as I love crime fiction, it was a natural pairing. Since then, I’ve joined Sisters in Crime, SinC Toronto, and was a panelist at Bouchercon – Toronto. All in all it’s been very rewarding.

My blog is mainly set up to promote my short novel – Existential Tableau – which is a lateral thinker’s approach to life. I am a fan of mixing the practical with the arcane; hopefully, my short novel conveys these two qualities well. I also share my thoughts on a variety of topics – there are links to my articles for the Korea Times on my blog. I am passionate about English teaching, so I share my perspective with the world. Who knows, maybe someone’s life will be positively influenced?
My philosophical musings inspired me to set up the blog. I was searching for the best way to publish my short novel – Reddit, Facebook, Twitter.. there was always something missing. Until I stumbled across WordPress. It’s a great site. I am going to reach 100 pages at one point.
Infinite Stairwell. Life is a constant thought process.

Well, essentially I wanted my blog to represent a number of things:
1.Be a conduit for debates on contemporary issues.
2.A means of connecting with fellow creatives
3.A library of all my shorts stories, film reviews and think pieces etc.
4.Finally, and most importantly, a form of self-expression. My mind is constantly overflowing with thoughts and ideas, and I felt that creating a blog was the best way of getting them all out before I exploded.
My website is called “A Disney World Adventurer” .
My blog is about sharing my Walt Disney World travel experiences, helping others by sharing my photos and stories, since Walt Disney World can be overwhelming at times to plan. I also love hearing back from others about their own Disney experiences!
I’ve always followed so many other Disney World bloggers, Disney is my passion and one day I thought, “why can’t I do that too?” I’ve only been blogging for about a month and a half, but I am so thankful for everyone that I’ve been able to connect with, and have so much fun sharing my experiences. Disney is my favorite thing to talk and write about!
My blog is a creative writing blog that gears towards poetry and prose. I also use my platform to share blogging tips, how to gain readership, advice on writing, and other creative activities to engage with my readers.
Originally, I was inspired to start my blog because I wanted a place to put all my content that I had previously kept private. It was meant more for myself, and I sincerely thought that no one wanted to hear my stories anyway.
In my first six months, I gained 2,000 followers—and at that point, I knew that this was really something special. Building this blog meant sharing my thoughts with other WordPress readers, and hoping I could connect with them. I think my reach has suggested that I really have made that connection, and I hope to continue to nurture it!
My blog is a dream journal and miscellaneous blog that focuses on me sharing my dreams every day, and sometimes posting about random things like: movies, television shows, music, videos, news, books, art, software, online services, memories, daydreams, poetry, quotes, products, and more.
Back in the early MySpace and Facebook (Fakebook) days I did not like some of the limitations that services like that had and I wanted a more flexible and open service that anyone could read and comment on even if they did not have an account because I wanted my family and friends et cetera to be able to follow parts of my life shared online and be able to communicate with me, and so I tried various online services until I ended up on Windows Live Spaces.
No one I knew seemed interested in my blog at all so I ended up deleting all of my posts and then my blog became a dream journal because I wanted to improve my dream recall again to the levels that I had back when I was a kid, dreams are an important part of my life and are one of the reasons that I am still alive today, dreams may often be fictional but they often contain some things from our real lives so this allowed me to still share something from my life without having to worry about sharing too much personal stuff since they are just dreams, and because I dream almost every night so that would give me something to blog about each day.
Eventually I started to occasionally add and delete miscellaneous posts to go along with my dream posts, and later I moved my blog from Windows Live Spaces to WordPress.com when Microsoft cancelled Windows Live Spaces.

A Journey in My World Blog
My blog is about how to begin a journey of self-discovery.
First of all, let me to introduce myself. I’m Dina Al-Mahdy; a freelance English editor, translator and writer at numerous publishing houses and online journals. I started writing and reading at a very young age, which helped me muse at the world through a lens steeped in mindfulness, adventure and tenderness. My greatest loves are art, books, literature, nature, writing, photography, translation, traveling and music. I’ve always been in a serious relationship with words, and have had a deep yearning to discover many of the answers that seem to have been hidden or forgotten in today’s world.
Being a member the International Positive Psychology Association, I’ve come to know the power of words. Words are important. They can lift us up or break us down, and they can touch our hearts. Our lives are made up of words, and when those words aren’t spoken, they leave a terrible emptiness in their wake. Words are powerful. When we withhold them, we’re denying their power and disempowering those we leave in the wreckage of those unspoken words. Simply put, we free ourselves and each other when we find the courage to speak our truth and honor our own feelings. That’s exactly why I started blogging!
In January 2018, I started my blog A Journey in My World, where I share my thoughts and hope to inspire as many people as possible through them. A Journey in My World is brimming with articles, poems and short stories in both English and Arabic, along with my photography, all of which are about energy healing, relationships, well-being, meditation, mindfulness and peacefulness, and how to bring their great benefits to our everyday life.
So I welcome everyone to have a wonderful reading and to enjoy the soulful photography, writing and music….
