Write into life blog

“Write Into Life — Rachel McAlpine on writing, blogging, and staying alive until we die”
I began this blog to document my personal “boot camp for the bonus years” in 2015. This eccentric boot camp triggered new ideas about life, blogging, and growing old, so I have carried on writing into life.
Last year I carried out a detailed survey of older bloggers and published the results in a series of blog posts. (The results amazed me and have triggered a new project.)
Now I write short articles about blogging, and very easy, friendly poems about ageing (because I’m 79 and it’s getting weird), and cute photographs that show what certain cats are thinking. At times I write about other things as well.
As a long-time professional writer, I care about the numerous ways that the act of writing brings health and joy and better thinking… not to the reader but to ourselves as writers. Writing has enriched my rather long life, and as a teacher and researcher I try to help others to access that same deep satisfaction and delight. Oh, and I do a lot of terrible drawings too.

Moments blog

Moments blog

My name is Marta Pombo Sallés. I come from Catalonia and I am a German and English teacher working in a high school near Barcelona. I have been teaching both languages since 1990. Both at work and in my free time I always feel the need to create things.

This blog is about what I do at certain MOMENTS of life, basically in my free time. I mainly write poems, sometimes a few short stories, and I post all this with photos I take. I have written a few literary reviews and have occasionally posted some of my dancing.

In 2015 two important things happened in my life. The first one was that I made friends with American artist-writer Mario Savioni,  whose blog I strongly recommend. Here is the link: Mario Savioni blog

Meeting Mario meant recovering things that I had neglected a bit in my life like my love for arts and literature. I started to read Mario’s poetry and short story books and ended up reviewing his 5 self-published books till now.

While I was in this process I had a compelling need to write. I showed Mario some of my humble poems and short stories and he was always very supportive. He even helped me reedit a few pieces. By that time, December of 2015, my father died. That was the second event that made me keep on creating whether it was dancing or writing. This formed part of my healing process after the loss of my father.

In 2016 I started my blog with the help of a friend who works in the field of computers. Then I noticed that what basically led me to start blogging was the self-healing effect and pleasure this whole process was having on me.

My main motivation has not changed since starting. As I said before, blogging for me is basically therapy and pleasure. I have crossed paths with many talented bloggers and this sharing has a karma effect of giving and taking, which I strongly believe is what life is about.

This blogging experience is highly rewarding in terms of feeling much better psychologically speaking, and also, being able to help others feel appreciated and valued for their great talents.

In sum, I have learnt a lot about other people’s lives, thoughts and feelings, about their excellent creations, mostly literary works.

Words of dumb blog

The Words of Dumb
The words of dumb blog

The words of dumb blog

My blog basically deals with fictional and non-fictional micro tales.
Nowadays everyone is too busy to read some long stories by any unknown teenage writer
so I try to keep my stories short and cryptic.
I have also planned to post some free verse poems and haikus.
My stories always have a hidden remark embarked in their roots.
I have a long story to tell. There is a great reason that inspired me to write.
I started this blog and used to write a story that inspired me to start writing but it didn’t get a good response
so I abandoned that idea and deleted all those posts and started writing these short stories.
Though I still have the affinity to start writing that story again on my blog  when  attain a good number of followers.

Life is fine whine blog

Life is fine whine blog

My blog includes multiple topics and is not about one topic in particular. The topics I write about include book review, makeup, poetry, motivational Mondays and much more. I also allow guest posting and the guest posters too write about multiple topics such as reviews, life and advice.

What first inspired me was that I have always wanted to write but I felt like I was not doing enough of it. Although I want to someday write a book that is something I will have to work on for a while and until I can finish my book I still wanted to do some writing. That is when one of my friends told me she had started a WordPress blog and I decided to do the same and try it out and well I’ve been blogging ever since.

Roshni Ramanan blog

Roshni Ramanan blog

I started this blog as a birthday gift to myself. I was inspired to blog, only to fight the fear of committing to publishing all that I write. I started out, with an intent to capture the unsaid and the abstract. It was key for me to become a versatile writer and branch out to incorporate a potluck mix of themes, genres and approaches to my posts. After a couple of years, I can fairly say that I’ve accomplished the goals that I envisioned at the outset. Yet, fighting my lack of willingness to post what I pen is certainly a work in progress. Today, my blog largely encases different styles of poetry but I’ve also dabbled in terribly tiny tales, listicles and prose pieces. Thank you for reading my story.

I am a Doctor who loves writing and who is in love with words.. I enjoy each time I write something and it makes me feel myself. I just love to write everything which my heart pours out and it includes my imagination, dreams, feelings, hope, love, and lot more.. I was someone who started writing at the age of 10 probably.. Nothing much; but all what I felt like to put in words. And it’s been just 5 months that I started blogging.. And what made me start a blog is that I wanted a home or nest where all my poems and thoughts can live together happily and they will be able to enjoy the writings of more wonderful people.. When I started, I never knew how it would be.. But really speaking.. It’s been amazing💖. The support from my WordPress community is immense and I enjoy reading beautiful people here.. The likes and comments makes me so happy that people are there to enjoy the little things which I love..❤

Objects and the distance between them blog

Objects, and the Distance Between Them Blog

Objects, and the Distance Between Them Blog

I write daily poetry and other creative writing, speaking to whatever is currently occurring in my life or happens to be in the forefront of my mind. This ends up encompassing a wide range of topics but I primarily write about relationships, love, mental health, time, light, and energy. I write as a creative outlet as well as to express myself and connect with others.
When I started my blog, most of my writing dealt with an ongoing divorce and my personal mental health struggles. It has since evolved, and though these topics still surface from time to time, they are no longer central.
I have also worked with several relationships defined as muses. I had never really worked with a muse relationship before and neither had any of them – it was a new experience and brought about some very inspired writing. I have since, inevitably it seems, fallen deeply in love with one particular muse, Blackbird, whom a majority of my writing either is about or to.
I found myself in a place of great darkness at the beginning of 2018, and realized that I needed to speak or my words would swallow me alive. I began posting with no real goal, other than to share my story and release the built up writing. I began this journey with the (rather foolish) intent of remaining distant and anonymous, but have since come to love this community, finding new meaning in the relationships I have built and the perspectives I have gained. I am slowly working to open myself up, and feel I have gained a family of sorts in those I have come to love here. I am inspired every day by the stories and poetry others share, the experience I encounter in my life, and those who I share this journey with.

Elleguyence blog

Elleguyence blog

My blog is a creative writing blog that gears towards poetry and prose. I also use my platform to share blogging tips, how to gain readership, advice on writing, and other creative activities to engage with my readers.
Originally, I was inspired to start my blog because I wanted a place to put all my content that I had previously kept private. It was meant more for myself, and I sincerely thought that no one wanted to hear my stories anyway.
In my first six months, I gained 2,000 followers—and at that point, I knew that this was really something special. Building this blog meant sharing my thoughts with other WordPress readers, and hoping I could connect with them. I think my reach has suggested that I really have made that connection, and I hope to continue to nurture it!
